Birch Polypore Tincture

A bottle of double extracted Birch Polypore tincture. Birch Polypore, or Piptoporus betulinus, has been shown to have the following benefits:

- Stypic, like other polypores
- Anti-bacterial & anti-viral
- Anti-tumor
- Anti-parasitic

Also known as razor strop fungus because you can use dried strips to sharpen the edge of a blade (and sheath one). Carried by medieval barbers (and surgeons) to keep blades safe and to use as a stypic / antibacterial. Otzi, the famous mummified iceman unearthed in 1991, was found with birch polypore in his medicine bag.
